The Invisalign Brand Celebrates Treating Their 3 Millionth Patient
On the 3rd of March 2015, the Invisalign brand announced that 3 million patients have now started treatment using the Invisalign system, the innovative approach to straightening teeth.
Understandably, this is a huge milestone in orthodontic treatment and marks the increasing number of dental professionals that are Invisalign trained, as well as the number of patients looking to straighten their teeth and feel more confident about themselves. The network of Invisalign providers has now spread to dental practices in more than 80 countries, with people all over the world benefiting from straighter smiles through treatment from the Invisalign clear aligner system.

What is Invisalign treatment?
Invisalign is an increasingly popular treatment at our Manchester practice that uses clear aligners, similar to a mouth guard or retainer that straightens crooked teeth over time. Unlike traditional orthodontics, Invisalign aligners are completely transparent, wafer thin and manufactured from medical grade plastic that is comfortable in the mouth. Each set of aligners are designed to be worn for around two weeks, before being replaced by a new set, gradually moving your teeth to the desired position.
